Sep 14, 2015- The Constituent Assembly (CA) is gearing up to promulgate the new constitution at 5 pm on Sunday day (September 20), according to deputy spokesperson of Constituent Assembly (CA) secretariat Sudarshan Kuinkel.
Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang and CA General Secretary Manohar Bhattarai were scheduled to meet President Ram Baran Yadav at 7 pm to formally invite him to attend the promulgation ceremony.
But the president's office Sheetal said it could not arrange time for Nembang to meet President Yadav citing his prescheduled engagements.
Nembang and Bhattarai will meet the president on Tueday morning to give formal invitation for the special ceremony.
